Meet the Founder
Diamond “Danyel” Ross is the founder of Bare Face Social, an annual gathering created to bring women together in St. Louis to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ, discover their God-given identity, and experience authentic community.
Bareface Social began in 2025 as a one time event with a simple desire and that is to create a space where women could come together, take off the layers they use to hide, and focus on what God was doing in their hearts. What happened that day became bigger than a single event. Women who attended continued to talk about the experience long after it ended, while others who missed it eagerly waited for the next one. What began as one gathering became an annual movement.
Diamond is a content creator, entrepreneur, mother, and woman devoted to following Jesus and using the platform God has given her for His purpose. After building a successful career and platform in the entertainment and digital space, Diamond chose to surrender her life and career fully to Christ, allowing God to redirect her influence toward something deeper than visibility... impact.
Today, she uses her voice, platform, and relationships to create spaces where women can encounter God, build genuine community, and be reminded that their identity is not found in their appearance, accomplishments, relationships, or what the world says about them. It is found in the One who created them.
Outside of Bareface Social, Diamond serves in ministry through Feel Her Ministry, which hosts gatherings for women throughout the St. Louis area. She also serves at her local church through youth ministry and guest relations, where she helps create welcoming environments for people entering the church.
As a mother, creator, entrepreneur, and woman continuing to grow in her walk with Christ, Diamond understands what it feels like to navigate different versions of yourself and what it means to surrender those versions to God.
Bareface Social is a reflection of that surrender.
It is not a movement against makeup, beauty, or femininity. It is an invitation to go deeper.
Because God isn’t after your makeup. He’s after your heart.
And Diamond’s hope is that every woman who walks through the doors of Bareface Social leaves knowing one thing:
You don’t have to perform to be loved. You don’t have to hide to belong. You were created on purpose, by the Creator Himself.
